First, visit app.polymet.ai and sign up.

You can create your project either by entering a prompt or by clicking the +Create Project button.

You can start by using text prompts, images, screenshots, sketches, or voice inputs. We’ve provided several example prompts to help you get started with Polymet.

Once you send your prompt, you’ll see the Infinite Canvas, similar to any modern design tool interface. Left of the canvas, there’s a chat area where you can interact with AI and the project assets panel in the top left displays all your components, pages, and prototypes.

Prototypes are actually interactive design elements - you can tweak, share, invite your teammates.

In the Canvas, you can see all your pages and components - edit them via prompts. Or you can jump into the “Focus view” its for details-level edits and changes. Gives users power of changing & exploring new alternatives easily.

Design Pages and Components

For designing new components and pages, you can send simple prompts in chat area. After you create your files, you can send extra prompts to create the other pages in the same app.

Also, you can create your landing page or product page by using the same design layout and language.

Some example prompts:

  • Create the other pages for this project.
  • Create 5 different variations for hero section, I’ll pick one of them and use then.
  • After users click this component, open a modal which shows the details.

Make Edits

You can do different level edits to iterate your design.

  1. You can leave comments to AI by selecting part of your components, pages and prototypes.
  2. You can edit your design by editing the code section.

Coming Soon: Visual Edits - editing texts, colors, margins, paddings, etc.

Run Your Prototype

After you create your pages, components and tweak your design - now you can run your prototype. We generally prepare a prototype for you, its already built - but you can mention pages and components in the prompt and create new prototypes.

  • You can create 5 different variation of same flow by sending prompts like “create prototype for these (page names here) and (component names here)”
  • After you create your first prototype, you can link it with the other ones.
